August 2026 Release Notes
A major release: Studio can now be driven by an AI assistant through a new Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, API projects gained live interactive documentation, and the Projects list got a powerful advanced filter — alongside new page elements, richer tutorials, and a wave of reliability work.

Studio

  • Build projects with AI (beta): Studio now exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so you can drive it from an AI assistant. Search and clone projects, create one from a template or from a written specification, apply full branding and custom CSS, manage translations, and save and deploy to a sandbox — all through natural-language tools, secured with your Studio login
  • Live API documentation: API projects now ship interactive, always-up-to-date API documentation, with downloadable OpenAPI and Postman specifications, so integrators can see exactly how to call your flow
  • Advanced Projects filter: A redesigned filter lets you narrow the Projects list by several criteria at once, with a clear active-count on the filter button so you always know what’s applied
  • New page elements: Toggle, Slider, QR code and Signature are now available as elements you can drop straight into a page
  • Friendlier user-group names: User groups now display a human-readable name instead of a raw system identifier
  • Richer tutorials: The in-studio user guides and tutorial pop-ups have been restructured and polished
  • Clearer version history: Long change summaries now stay neatly inside their version-history entry, and an “Invalid Date” shown on Release-to-Live has been fixed
  • Checkbox subtitle branding: You can now set and brand the subtitle text shown beneath a checkbox
  • Automatic SEO title: New and cloned projects now use the project name as the page’s SEO title automatically
  • Quicker API key refresh: Regenerating a project’s API key is now a refresh icon right inside the token field

Client SDK

  • More resilient verification flows: The client now detects when a browser extension or network blocks a verification request and recovers gracefully via a status fallback instead of stalling, surfacing a clear “connection blocked” message when it can’t
  • Smoother camera capture: Camera failures are now classified with an in-modal retry, and re-capturing a document or selfie skips the extra confirmation step
  • New input options: File upload can pre-filter the picker to accepted file types, autocomplete fields can show an optional description line per option, and checkbox subtitles now sit correctly beneath the label

Platform

  • New European hosting region: A new Europe (GCP) region is now available for hosting production projects
